
We've done a lot of whining about the heat up here lately. So, to get some perspective, here's a picture of Death Valley where we visited last year. We stayed in a little place called Stovepipe Wells right in the middle of the valley, passing up the cushier digs at Furnace Creek Inn nearer to the entry. It was well over a hundred degrees and barely cooled at night (96 when we left in the morning at 9am).
So, that little 90+ degree spell we had up here seems pretty moderate by comparison...
